Conchas Chinas is probably one of the nicest neighborhood in Puerto Vallarta. Ideally located on the nicest beaches of South Shore area and offering easy access to Romantic zone and city downtown, no wonder why this is one of the hottest spot to get married.
Casa Karma is a Boutique hotel that can host up to 200 people for a wedding reception on its huge terrace and serve food to 140 people. It offers privacy, luxury and stunning extensive view of Pacific ocean and Banderas Bay. If you are lucky enough, you might even see some humpback whales doing some acrobacy.
As always I like to do a mix of photojournalism and artistic photography in my wedding documentation. That’s also what Jo and Rebecca requested when they decided to hire me. They wanted me to capture their memories in a way that I would not interfere with the natural course of the event. Keeping those souvenirs is the very essence of my job as a photographer because I know they will be cherish for a lifetime. I enjoyed using my Tilt-shift lense again as it adds that poetry and romanticsm to my shots.
Catholic religion is very important in Mexican families and traditions are too. So getting married at Parroquia Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe felt normal for them. Besides it is a tremendously well decorated place to celebrate a union and religious music definitely brings on some intensity to the emotions. A mariachi band waited the couple outside the church for a truely mexican fiesta that was just about to start…
