Wedding Hacienda San Angel - Jeana & Wesley

Puerto Vallarta, romantic destination since 1964

If you are seeking for romance, you already making a good choice with Puerto Vallarta as your wedding destination. Beautiful sunsets, many dinner options and the unforgettable mexican hospitality made Puerto Vallarta one of the top destination in Northern America since it was discovered by the media in the 1960s. The filming of Night of the Iguana in the 1964 starred Richard Burton and Liz Taylor and their famous romance. A few months later, the whole world discovered Banderas Bay and its incredible beauty. That was the begining of the Puerto Vallarta’s transformation until the one we know today.

Travel into the past at Hacienda San Angel

Speaking of the two stars’ romance, there is no better place to feel like those icones than Hacienda San Angel. Place has been bought and re-modeled by Janice Chatterton who filled it with a tremendous amount of art and offering a one of a kind Boutique Hotel. Whether you choose to walk into the luxurious gardens of the property or enjoy the extensive views of Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay, Hacienda San Angel is definitely a must in Puerto Vallarta.

Boutique Hotel with its own chapel

Best part of Hacienda San Angel, besides its gourmet restaurant, is that you and your family and friends will be able to celebrate your union in the hotel’s own chapel, in the privacy of your group, enjoying the sunset over Parroquia de nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, Puerto Vallarta’s iconic church. A mariachis band will then escort you to the reception room for an authentic mexican style wedding.

New collaboration and Wedding Photography

This particular wedding was the occasion for me to start a new professional relationship with my good friend Eve from Eventives Wedding. It was our first wedding together and I must say I really enjoyed working with her. On top of everthing from months, the event was beautifully decorated and everything went according to the plan. As for me, I tried to focus on capturing their memories with my own style, mixing photojournalism and fine-art photography. I let you below a few shots so you can for yourself the beauty of Hacienda San Angel.
