Sierra Lago Resort & Spa, a peaceful retreat
Sierra Lago is a beautiful paradise lost in the Sierra Madre’s mountains of Jalisco. Far away from any light pollution, it is the perfect place for a photographer to capture incredible moments. For all these reasons and much more, Ilse & Joel chose to plan their wedding in Sierra Lago in Mascota and they couldn’t be happier with the event. This Boutique Hotel offers all commodities and romance a couple would look for in a wedding and a stunning lake formed into the crater of an extinguished volcano.
Only a short drive away from Puerto Vallarta (about 2.5 hours to be accurate) this little heaven offers a cooler and drier climate than on the coast, especially enjoyable during summer. At night, it is the theatre of an incredible show made of millions of stars allowing the most romantic retreat for any couple.
Jalisco is full of fun
This region is full of activities for the hotel’s guests. From hiking, fishing, horse-riding to kayaking or simply enjoying the pool, Sierra Lago has everything for you to enjoy a beautiful and relaxing time in nature. Sierra Lago’s staff can also take care of some parts of the wedding along with your wedding planner. In that case, Cinthia from Emmotions Event Planner did a wonderful job and succeeded to sur-pass the couple’s expectations. Every detail was beautifully taken care of from flowers to music with only the best ingredient for an unforgettable party.
The day closed off with Mariachi’s music and fireworks were launch to celebrate the union of Ilse & Joel. Like always in my wedding documentation I tried to keep intact the memories that were made that day and hope they will be cherish for a lifetime. Cheers to them!
