The Christopher Family
Rancho 11 is a private beachfront estate on the Punta Mita peninsula — palapa roofs among the palms, a pool right over the sand, and a stretch of beach the family had entirely to themselves. It is the kind of place where a session doesn't need directing: kids run to the water, parents follow, and the light does the rest.
A family session can be so much fun that sometimes I would like to put down the camera and get involved with everybody — that's how it happened with Christopher's family. The kids were really easy to work with, and granted us with the latest trending dances. So funny that it gave us some particular, happy shots. Their grandmother was so charming as well; you can feel the warm love for her kids and grand-kids in her eyes on each picture.
What more can I say besides that the daylight was perfect — and so was the location. Rancho 11 is such a pretty villa with astonishing modern architecture. A dream for an architecture photographer like me. I loved the attention that was put into the interior design, and the pristine clear water of the sea that stands right outside the property. The panoramic view over Banderas Bay is just magic, perfect for this kind of session.
