Same sex wedding, legal in Jalisco
When you cover a wedding LGBT in Vallarta your publication focuses on this special, unique event, that freedom that finally everyone can have to marry whomever they want. Besides, that freedom is new, it feels so much love, so much happiness in each participant, whether the couple or guests that you don’t feel as engaged but as a guest that have been invited at a party of happiness.
Covering a LGBT event is not only fun but full of feelings at every corner. A marriage LGBT is the ideal place to feel that love is universal, to see that love has no color or sex, and that each human has that beautiful faculty which is called “love”, and no one has the right to take away from anyone that freedom.
But the wedding of Rich & Rigo, is not only remembered for being such a special marriage between two men, but by the extreme conditions in which the event occurred. There are days that are never forgotten, and Rich & Rigo will never forget their wedding in Puerto Vallarta.
Rainy wedding = Happy wedding!
Those who live in Vallarta know that June is the month when the rains come. We do not know which day it will come, but the worst that can happen is that it decide to fall down the day of your event.
From the moment that the couple were ready to begin the ceremony, it started raining non-stop all night. There was a short break for dinner, but at the first dance, it returned stronger. Those who read, will start thinking “poor couple” or “bad luck”, and I am the first one to be agree with you, but who of the readers will think about the photographer, in his material, in his responsibility to deliver the reportage and psychological pressure which he should support. The couple, the material, whatever, it is not because the rain comes that I can quit my job, nobody can, neither the organizers nor the DJ, no waiters, no one can or even wants to think about it.
Working in the wedding of Rich & Rigo was very difficult for everyone, but for me, it was a delighted difficulty. I can’t complain, that I had seen my gears failed step by step till stop working, a flash, then another one, then the radio, till seeing cameras who goes mad. But I do not complain of the difficulty, because the rain allowed me to do what I wanted to do for years. And forgive me Rich and Rigo for being so passionate about what I do, I’ll be honest and confess you it have been several seasons I was craving for a good rain at a wedding. But please do not blame me for everything, I do not or undo the heavens, indeed it was a difficult pleasure to stay until the end of the event, but I no regret for that rainy day, and to read my obvious emotion I hope you won’t neither.
Now that I see the pictures and you’ll discover them, I hope you will remember the best way that beautiful rainy day where you are promised to love each other forever, as I will remember it to be one of my favorite wedding I covered.
