San Sebastián del Oeste is a little magical town of Jalisco, located about 50 miles from Puerto Vallarta and accessible by plane or road. It offers a unique scenery made of old gold and silver mines, hundred-years-old haciendas and majestic mountains. Paulina & Manuel couldn’t find a more romantic place to celebrate their wedding.
If you want to take a trip into the past and immerge yourself into the early 1900s, San Sebastian is THE place you are looking for. There, you will be able to learn everything about gold minery in town’s museum or visit one of the many haciendas that has been restored.
El Pabellón Mexicano is one of them and has been transformed into a Boutique Hotel that hosted the Getting Ready of our two little birds. Once dressed, we all headed to San Sebastian’s church where a traditional catholic ceremony would bless our couple’s union. Many emotions were expressed that day and tears were difficult to handle for everyone.
Fortunately for everyone, my very good friend Cinthia from Emmotions Wedding had planned a wonderful reception to host the party. Every detail was nicely taken care of: from the enormous flower arrangements to the little plant souvenirs that guests could take home. Dinner was then served on original wood slices that added up some fun to the food.
I have to say I really enjoyed being with Paulina and Manuel and witnessing their love. Their wedding turned out to be amazing from beginning to end and I wish them the same happy ending for their life.
