Casa Kimberly is probably one of Puerto Vallarta’s most iconic place. It was the love nest of Richard Burton and Elizatbeth Taylor romance. It is during the 60s and the filming of The Night of the Iguana that two stars started loving each other. Both were married and this affair provoked a scandal that drew journalist from all over the world to Puerto Vallarta. That is how the little fisher town became one of Mexico’s top tourist destination.
But back to Casa Kimberly. This mansion is now run as a luxurious hotel by Janice Chatterton, also owner of Hacienda San Angel. This beautiful house hosts nine guest suites in the exquisite Gringo Gulch including the grand Elizabeth Taylor’s royal suite.
A few blocks away from the Malecon and the romantic zone, Gringo Gulch is perfectly located and offers calm and serenity to its guests in a lush and green ambiance, filled with magnificent pieces of art. Today I am documenting the love of two little birds who came to Mexico to live their own romance.
